My cousin, Abby, is really more like a sister to me. She is my best friend in the whole world. I love her so much and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She is always so generous when we come to visit, and I always leave feeling motivated to be the kind of person that she is. Thanks for such a great weekend, Abb, we love you and Nick and Stella!!

Trip to Utah
This weekend Jake wanted to go camping with some friends. So Calvin, Cash and I all decided to go visit my cousin, Abby, in Utah. We went down Thursday morning and got there about 2:30. Abby and her daughter, Stella, took us to the Lehi Rec. Center to go swimming. It was the funnest place! They had a big shallow play area just for little kids. Calvin, Cash and Stella all had a blast playing together in the water. Then we came back to Abby's that evening and she made little pizzas for us. They were so yummy! On Friday we got up and went to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. I went there once when I was younger, but I didn't remember much. It was a BLAST! The kids all loved it. They are at such a fun age to take places like that. We saw monkeys, giraffes, gorillas, tigers, kangaroos, elephants, turtles, zebras, camels, a lot of birds, and so much more. We took our lunch and found a shady place to eat, then let our kids play in this neat little playground they had. Right before we left we all took a ride on the train. I think that was their favorite part. After the zoo, we went out for ice cream then took the kids home for a little nap. For dinner that night we went to Red Robbin. It's Calvin's favorite, so I told him we could go while we were down there. The kids had all had a VERY long day, so to put it mildly, the whole dinner was a total mess!! By the time our waitress came with our check, we chose to forget about the group picture and get the heck out of there. But we survived and everyone slept well that night. Saturday morning we woke up, loaded up the car, and headed home. Just in time to go to the salon so I could do my sister, brother-in-law, niece, mom, and dad's hair. After that I had to book it home so I could get my house put together before Jake's aunt and uncle, whom he hasn't seen in years, came from Boise to take us out to dinner. It was so good to see them and get to know him and his wife. By the time everyone left our house that night I was more than ready to CRASH.
My little sunbathing beauties
Stella and Calvin were chasing each other around the whole time!
Cash couldn't decide if he wanted in or out of the pool.
Calvin and Stella were Terrified of this Elephant. It was making all these loud noises. You can see Calvin was freaking out.
Elephants are the coolest looking animals. I was trying to imagine what it would be like to ride on one.
