Our new house!

Basement before and after...

Jake and have been on the hunt for our perfect home for about 2 or 3 years now. We put our house up for sale officially in August. In March, we found a beautiful piece of land in Ashton where we planned to build. After realizing it would cost A LOT more money than we wanted to dish out, and having had our hearts set on moving to Ashton, we found this little farm for sale that was just down the road! We called around and went to look at it, fell in love instantly, and bought it about a month later. We moved the middle of may and have been in heaven ever since. Granted, we have not spent a winter here yet, and might change our tune next year, but it is insanely beautiful, peaceful, and serene. We love the people and have already made some great friends! I haven't taken any pictures of the outside yet, but here is the inside. It was built in 1917 but the main floor was completely remodeled. We finished half of the basement when we moved in. I cut these beautiful yellow roses off a wild bush where a TON of them are growing down the road.
